Ok so Wednesday I had to work from 4:00-9:30 (closing time). I guess it was alright. I watched some training video and I signed some stuff. The manager lady left early and she didn't even tell me much at all really. I was pretty much left in the dark. Another worker was supposed to give me a tour but she had break so she gave me to another person, and that person gave me to another and that person passed me on to another person as well. Then the second person came back to help me. I never really got a tour of the place <.<. They were nice but I felt like a defunct toy that nobody even wanted to deal with. =[ Customers kept asking me where things were and I had no idea because I never got the flippin tour. Um some guy asked me if this was the bead aisle...there were beeds all over the racks and shelves so of course it's the bead aisle...people can be so stupid. I was left all by myself to clean and organize aisles. If I didn't even ask what time closing was I'd probably stay there all night. Everybody was vague and hardly told me anything and I was so confused.
Oh and did I mention that I can't drive my car? Apparantly I drove home from school a couple of days ago with a completley flat tire (my wonderful mom filled it up with air for me), I was driving with no oil (again my mom helped me with that), Antifreeze is leaking ALL over the place, and my right headlight is busted...<.<. I can't drive it now because of the antifreeze leak and my mom thinks it's dead...
That's just my luck. I FINALLY get off my butt to get a job...and I can't even drive there because my car is dead. I used my sister's car..she took the truck to her work.
Oh and I have a bad cold too so I feel pretty sick and crummy. <.<
I have work tonight again from 4:00-9:30 or closing again so maybe tonight will be a little better. I lost a paper that the manager lady gave me at work to learn how to schedule work online so I'll have to ask for that. I'm going to have to drop my sister off at her work and take that car to my work and then pick her up after closing time because her job ends roughly around the same time as mine.
And that's all I wish to write today. I'll keep you guys posted on how things are going in Life at Michaels. Woohoo.
Oh! Another side note. I recently saw Mamma Mia and I am officially in love with it! Meryly Streep is 60 years old in that movie! She's moving around all over the place in there and what a what a voice!
Watch it or die.
